The TRUE RVers ForumPasswords are not used or needed to post on this board. You may use your real name, or a user name of your choosing, or you may post anonymously. We would appreciate knowing who we are talking to, so anonymous posts are discouraged and may be soon discontinued. Passwords and memberships will not be required as long as the discussions are conducted in an adult manner. If everyone conducts themselves as if they were talking to each other face to face, I don't think we will have any problems. I'm not saying it's wrong to disagree with a comment or viewpoint, if fact, if you feel something is in error, please state your view. This is a free discussion board for all of us interested in all things to do with RV'ing. Respect that not everyone will share your particular ideas or comments and then "get on with it". Flame wars or personal bickering will not be tolerated ... take it to private e-mail. To post a message on the board, just type in your message in the message box, then sign your name (or username of your choosing). Then click on the "post/preview this message" button. Your message will appear in a preview window where you can review or edit it as needed. When you are satisfied with the message then click the "post this message button" to actually post it. It's a two step process ... but it gives you a chance to see the message before you post it. Clear (as mud)? There are many good folks who freely donate their time and experience to help with RVer problems. These answers take a great deal of time to research and respond to. If you need an immediate answer, take it to an RV repair shop. Finally, my time is limited ... I'm a working RV tech and in the RV'ing season I'm BAGGED when I get home! I try to monitor the board, but I rely on the wisdom of our many RV veterans to help out on a regular basis. You guys know who you are, and my appreciation is unbounded! Thanks! This is a new and fresh RV bulletin board - we have the advantage of some "old hands" and "regulars" without the restrictions of prior partnerships. This board is also hosted on my website so it will not be subjected to the whims and desires of advertisers. I am always open to suggestions for improving this board. I will establish a topic area for that purpose. Once I have figured out how to archive the toimages/posts, I'll shorten the length of the threads for convenience, but the past posts will be there for reference. If anyone has some experience with running a discus board, I would appreciate your input. Thank you all for joining us! Les Doll |
