Anybody?

So, seeing as the latest entries in the data base are from August or earlier (One message excluded), anybody care to speculate as to on an explanation?

Nobody can afford to get on the road. Plus winter has struck the east coast and central U.S., it is even cold here in Texas. My RV is sold now. But, as requested, we are still here.

Hey! Sorry all - I've been involved with some other projects lately and have been working on them.

Also selling the house and looking for a full-time RV! - lots of RVs to choose from, but no house buyers yet!

Re the forum: I was doing some maintenance on my website and it looks like the configuration file for the forum got corrupted.
I had to reload the forum program and then re-configure it all over. (got a callus on my typing finger) :(
I did have a backup database but it would not load correctly, so I had to load the June backup - hence the missing posts.
Still working on getting those back and getting all the moderator settings and stuff corrected.

In the meanwhile ...

Let's get some new discussions going to fill in the blanks. I'll start one off in a bit ...who's next?

Oh, by the way, I also updated the forum during my frantic efforts to get it back up and running. We now have the latest version, so if I can keep from messing up for awhile, we should be okay. Okay? :?:

Perhaps backing up the files to more than one media type? Maybe CD and USB Thumb drive?

Have a good one,

Good idea, Haffie.

The major problem is with my personal memory bank ... I forget to backup!

Isn't there a setting in the software to schedule automatic backups? If so, you can get free on-line storage at www.box.net and get between 5 and 50 GB. That should be enough for a couple of years. You'd have virtually hands free backups.

Have a good one,
