PDF for this dummy

Postby Cal » Thu Dec 02, 2010 1:04 am

We all down load info in PDF form time to time.
How do you get it printed one page on one sheet of paper?
Every time I print I get a mish/mash of correlation and end holding two sheets together to read a sentence and parts diagrams are a piece of work to figure out?
HELP!!

I have the same problem with part diagrams, some times I only get a part of the diagram and not even a second page, one thing I have done is use the 100% thing located in the far right lower corner on my screen and drop it to 75% but then sometimes its not big enough for me to see everything like I need to. i,m thinkin it maybe could be down loaded into a file and some how worked with from their? I would like to know the easiest way my self?

i have used cut and past into a word document. You should probably save to the desktop or a folder 1st then try to do whatever you need.

First I'd have to ask, what prgm are you using to view PDF documents?

I personally use FoxIt reader and have for yrs. The last time I used Acrobat, I found with FoxIt I was viewing the document while Acrobat was still loading.

FoxIt offers a full range of what to print and how to format it including multiple pages on once sheet.

This was sent to me and it works great.

Using Adobe Acrobat 9 do not go to files and then print, rather click on
the printer icon on the top left.
You will find a switch for "fit to page"

If you want to print just a section go to tools and "Select and Zoom" then
Select.
Highlight the section and either go to copy or using the keyboard hit
"control C"
(Two keys at the same time) This copies to memory and you can paste it into
"word" or "open office"

In tools "Select and Zoom" there is also the snapshot tool. This copies to
memory as you select. Its useful for pictures.
