RV VALUE: What's it worth,(to someone else)??

Postby klkitchen » Sun Apr 06, 2008 5:26 pm

I have been looking on the web for a site that could tell me what my RV would be worth if I were to sell it. I realize that the best way is to drive it to a dealer, but I really don't want to travel the Tri-State in order to do that. The few phone calls I made to local dealers were no help and there never seems to be model like mine listed in the paper or online sites that I could compare it to.
With the kids gone, I am thinking about downsizing a bit.

Any ideas?

Thanks, ...Ken

Hi Ken,

You can go to http://www.nadaguides.com/ (click on the RV tab) to get a ball park figure and I have a website that will show you all the RVs that are for sale right now on eBay.

This will give you an idea of the value of your RV but remember that many things will influence the market value.

When I was looking at my big TT, I did a google search and found a place or two where I could put in the year & model and get a book value.

Book value is just a guide, as has already been said - but sometimes it bears repeating. It's worth whatever someone will pay for it. But having a guide is certainly useful.
